Post by: GamerJeff on June 29, 2009, 08:39:09 PM BSW has been really weird with their updates lately, and a lot of us have been dropped from the Burgundy Ridge channel. Moose_Head showed me a quick command to refresh the channel.
Just type in /chwho and that will refresh your channel and show *everyone* that is there! Title: Re: TIPS and TRICKS for BSW! Post by: JPFantasy on June 30, 2009, 06:55:32 PM When the BR channel is not updateing when new people come and go, then the /mode quiet is not set to "= no". This can be set by the channel operator.

if you are a city council member and the chat didn't open, you can type /ctell /makeoper that will open the city chat, and, if there is not already an operator on it, make you the operator. In the city chat window, you can type /mode quiet=off to put the channel in "Burgundy Ridge standard" mode, wherein it will inform you of the comings and goings of folks on the chat. I have wondered for years why oh why that feature isn't sticky. It defaults to /mode quiet=on when BSW reboots. Title: Re: TIPS and TRICKS for BSW! Post by: GamerJeff on July 06, 2009, 03:40:25 AM Hey - having problems with someone in your room? There is an easy way to report them:
You can enter the Fairness Channel by typing /channel Fairness and there you can contact a Reeve (Sheriff) who can assist you Of course, each town has their own, and if ours is online when you have a problem, then you will be directed to them. They will need a copy of your chat logs, usually emailed, so you can copy and paste those into an email when they are ready. |
